Dr Zahabia Basrai, was interested in pursuing physiotherapy as a teenager when she saw her dad undergo therapy post his surgery. She went on to study physiotherapy at KJ Somaiya college – Sion. After graduating she worked in home health, outpatient and hospitals set ups in Mumbai including Saifee hospital for over 3 years and Apollo Clinic. She did her further specialization in orthopedics in MGH institute of Health professionals in 2012 in Boston USA and worked in Silicon Valley, California in More physical therapy -an outpatient facility specializing in musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation. She believes strongly in an holistic approach to treating patients keeping in mind the latest evidence based treatments. Her hobbies include different group workouts and yoga as well as outdoor activities like hiking all of which help her understand her patient population better, She currently practices at Gamdevi in South Mumbai.
